A : Assalamualaikum wr.wb

B : Waalaikumsalam wr.wb

A : May I sit biside you ?

B : Oh, yes of crouse

A : My name is Kandiyah, I’m student exchange from PNU ( Princess Noura University ) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

B : Oh hai. I’m Mellyk Fera Kusuma, you can call me Melly. I’m from Jebugan, Tirtomulyo, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta. And nice to meet you.

A : Nice to meet you too. By the way, may I know about something?

B : Sure, what do you need to know?

A : I want to know several information about UMY

B : About what ?

A : Everything you know. About schedule, campus facilities, student’s activity, food’s, and favorite place,  maybe.

B : Oh oke, I will try to tell you about what I know. In UMY usually time to first class started at 7 am or 9 am, and the last class until 5 pm suspended schedule you have chosen before. I went to campus by motorcycle because my house to far from here

A : Oh ya?? Don’t you from Yogya ?

B : Ya, but my house near with Parangtritis Beach and 23 km from here.

A : Wow, so far. Why you not stay ini Unires like me?

B : I’m not to interested to stay in Unires, ehehehe. Just forgot this. Then for campus facilities in each classroom you can see ambience (suasana) like this, there is AC, fan, LCD, Sound system, chairs, windows, white board and table. Then UMY library are very clean, comfortable, cool with some AC, many books and journals, not forget for wifi. Oya UMY has agricultural laboratory, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, communication, law laboratory, internationals relations laboratory and faculty of Islamic studies laboratory. UMY also has a large mosque, boga canteen, pasca sarjana building, sport center, student center, clinic and ATM.

A : I see, but I just know several place here. And how about favorite place in campus, student’s activity and food ?

B : My favorite place is library because in the library I can do the task with calm and cool. Then I join FIES ( Forum Intellectual Economy Syariah ) and cooperative student. My favorite food in Boga canteen is chicken soup.

A : May I know more about food in Boga canteen? And what student’s eat  outside campus is that healty or not ?

B : In the canteen there is a lot of food the most popular are fried rice, meat ball, geprek chicken, chicken soup. That all InsyaAllh healthy, I also sometime eat in outside from campus, but I have attention to the place and food. If the place was cleaned and has fresh foods it means that foods insyaallah healthy. And how about your campus in Princess Noura University ?

A : Ok , I also will try to tell you about Princess Noura University. If you live in Riyadh they won’t give you a student room, but if you from other country you can have a student room to live in it so close from the University, maybe like Unires. And time to study start from 8 am until 4 pm. We went to campus by car or metro like train campus.

B : Train ? That’s amazing ! and how about campus facilities, things in the classroom, student’s activity and food ?

A : Things in the class room almost all the same here, like tables, chairs, windows, AC, white board, LCD. PNU has 8 millions meter area, and 800 buildings there are school from play group until University, hospital, library, store, restaurant, caffe, book store, sport center and many more. There’s a lot of food to eat, like sandwiches, coffe, dounat’s. also there’s restaurant like pizza in subway, sugar sprinkles, there’s burger too and spagethy. My favorite place a building (A4) that’s the favorite place if I’m have a break I go there. That building has restaurant, small store also has pharmacy, caffe and book shops. I don’t know a lot about student activity. But every college, has student activities. There education college,language college, art college, business college, oh also there’s a gym that’s really amazing thing.

B : O may god, I like your university and I want to ge there, insyaallah.

A : Ya insyaallah you can go there and I will waiting for you. Just a minute my mom calling me, talk you later Melly.
